The appliance is purchased outright. The analytics are licensed on top of it, either perpetually or by subscription. Camera hardware, network hardware, cabling, and installation are not included.

Option A: Buy The Licences
Buy the licences outright. Annual maintenance at 18% of licence value is optional and covers model updates and support. The licence keeps working without it.
Option B: Subscribe
Billed annually. Model updates and support are included for the term. No minimum commitment beyond the annual billing period, because the hardware is already yours.

Questions
How to Choose What’s Best for You
Choose based on how you plan to deploy and operate the system.
Do I need to replace my existing cameras?
Usually not. The floor is 2 MP at 15 fps on ONVIF Profile S, and what actually decides a position is distance and angle rather than sensor size. Helmet detection reaches 6.3 m on a 2 MP camera and 8.4 m on 4 MP; vehicle counting reaches 24.9 m on 2 MP. A Camera Design Review returns a pass or fail per position and prices any remediation before contract. Full requirements.
How many cameras can one AI Box system handle?
The Mini handles up to three camera streams. The Server handles up to 25. Above 25, the Server Pro configuration is quoted by stream count and frame-rate requirement.
Should I buy the software licences or subscribe?
The appliance is bought either way, so the question is only about the software. Subscribe if your horizon is under four years, if the camera count is still moving, or if software capital is hard to approve. Buy the licences if you are a capital-budget or government buyer, or if the deployment will run past year five, which is where buying becomes cheaper.
What happens if I stop paying the software subscription?
You keep the appliance, because you bought it. The analytics stop and the dashboard reverts to a licence prompt. Nothing is returned and no clawback applies. Restarting the subscription reactivates the same unit and the same configuration.
Is support included?
Hardware warranty and software maintenance are separate. Every appliance carries a 12-month hardware warranty, extendable for years two and three at $150 per year on the Mini and $870 on the Server. Software maintenance is included in a subscription and optional on a perpetual licence at 18% of licence value per year.
What happens if the AI Box loses internet connectivity?
Nothing. Detection, alerting, and the local dashboard all run offline. Cloud connectivity is optional and off by default. Remote support and model updates require connectivity or an offline update package.
Where is video stored?
Wherever you already store it. The AI Box analyses streams; it is not a recorder. Event metadata and detection snapshots are stored locally on the unit. Long-term video retention remains your VMS or NVR responsibility.
How long is the lead time and how does it ship?
Three to four weeks from order. Shipped from Surabaya. Import duty, VAT, and customs clearance are the buyer’s responsibility.
