Dedicated AI Engineering Team For Computer Vision And Edge AI

Computer vision engineers, edge engineers and a tech lead from ARSA, working as part of your product team. Engage them as a monthly dedicated team or for a fixed-price project. The code and the models we build for you are yours.

WHO IT IS FOR

Who Hires A Dedicated Computer Vision Team

Three Kinds Of Product Team

OEMs and hardware makers who ship cameras, gateways or embedded boards and need detection that runs on their own device. Our edge engineers port, compress and tune models for the hardware you sell, then hand the build pipeline over to your firmware team.

EU product teams with vision features on the roadmap and no computer vision engineers in house, or a hiring plan that will not fill the seats in time. A dedicated team joins your sprints, your repository and your review process.

US startups that need a working pilot for a first customer or an investor, and a team that can carry that pilot into production without rebuilding it from scratch.

How The Team Works With You

ARSA's engineers are based in Indonesia, at UTC+7. That gives about three hours of overlap with Central European working hours each day, enough for a daily stand-up, design reviews and pairing on hard problems, with the rest of the day spent on focused build work. For teams in other time zones we agree the meeting slots at the start of the engagement.

The team works in your tools: your Git hosting, your issue tracker and your chat. A tech lead is your single point of contact, joins your planning, and writes down every decision that changes scope, cost or architecture.

Your Code, Your Models, Your Data

The engagement term is simple: you own the code and the models we build for you. Your production data stays in your environment. Our engineers work in your repositories and on infrastructure you control, and when a model has to learn from production footage or records, training runs where that data already lives. Access is granted per engineer and removed when the engagement ends.

ROLES

Roles On A Dedicated AI Engineering Team

  1. Your product brief
  2. Tech lead plans the work
  3. Engineers build and test
  4. Shipped on your hardware
PPE detection on a construction site by an ARSA model, marking workers with compliant safety gear in green and workers with violations in red.

Computer Vision Engineer

Builds the detection, tracking and recognition models: the data plan, labelling, training, evaluation on your own footage, and the error analysis that shows where a model is still weak.

Traffic monitoring on a multi-lane highway by an ARSA model running at the edge, with cars and trucks detected and classified.

Edge Engineer

Takes a trained model to the device it will run on: converts and optimises it with OpenVINO for Intel hardware or for NVIDIA GPUs, profiles it on the target board, and builds the video pipeline around it.

Tech Lead

Owns the architecture, the plan and the communication. Reviews every merge, reports progress against the milestones you agreed, and raises risks early.

Web And Integration Work

When the models need a dashboard, an API or a link into your VMS or ERP, our web application engineers join for that phase.

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Two Ways To Engage The Team

How A Team Starts

  1. Introductory call your product, your stack and your goals
  2. Team plan roles, overlap hours and first milestones in writing
  3. Onboarding access to your tools and repositories
  4. Delivery sprints with a demo at every milestone
Model Commitment Best for
Monthly dedicated team 3-month minimum Roadmaps that keep changing
Fixed-price project One written scope A pilot, a model port or a defined feature

Choosing Between The Two

A monthly dedicated team suits work whose shape will change. You set the priorities each sprint, and the team stays with your product for at least three months. Monthly terms depend on the size of the team and its mix of roles, and we set them out in the team plan.

A fixed-price project suits a deliverable you can describe in advance. We write down the scope, the acceptance tests and the milestones, and the price is fixed against them. A fixed-price project is also a good first step before a dedicated team.

Edge AI Already In Production For Defence And Police

The engineers on a dedicated team are the engineers who build ARSA's own products, which run at the edge on Intel hardware through OpenVINO and on NVIDIA GPUs. Two of the systems they delivered for government clients are on our portfolio.

Ministry of Defense Indonesia - ARSA Technology Client

Restricted Area Protection System

Ministry of Defense, Republic of Indonesia

Face recognition and intrusion detection for restricted areas at Ministry of Defense installations, verifying identity before access and flagging unauthorised entry.

Licence Plate Recognition And VIN Tamper Detection

National Police, Republic of Indonesia

An on-premise platform for vehicle registration checks that reads licence plates and detects VIN and engine-number tampering, replacing manual inspection with automated verification.

FAQ

Dedicated Engineering Team Questions

What is the minimum term for a dedicated team?

Three months. That is the shortest period in which a team can learn your codebase, deliver something of value and hand it over properly. After the first three months you can extend the engagement, change the size of the team or end it, with the notice period agreed in the contract.

How does a team start?

With a call about your product, your stack and what you need built. The tech lead then sends a written team plan with the roles, the overlap hours, the first milestones and how progress will be reported. Once you approve it, the engineers get access to your tools and the first sprint begins.

Who owns the code and the models?

You do. The code and the models built for you under the engagement belong to you, and your production data stays in your environment throughout. Both terms are written into the contract before work starts.

How do time zones and communication work?

The team is in Indonesia, at UTC+7, which gives about three hours of overlap with Central European working hours. We use that window for stand-ups, reviews and decisions, and work asynchronously for the rest of the day through your issue tracker and chat. All meetings and written reports are in English.

How is a fixed-price project scoped?

We agree a written scope with you: what will be delivered, the acceptance tests it must pass, the target hardware and the milestones. The price is fixed against that scope. If you want to change the scope part way through, we agree the change and its effect on price and timing in writing before the work continues.

Which hardware and frameworks does the team work with?

Models are built with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV and NumPy, exported through ONNX, and deployed with OpenVINO on Intel hardware or on NVIDIA GPUs. If your product runs on other hardware, tell us on the first call and we will say plainly whether we have the experience for it.
